Can children take SAM-e?

Can I take other drugs or supplements with SAM-e?

Who should not take SAM-e?
People with bipolar (manic) depression or who are experiencing severe issues with mood, including thoughts of suicide, should not take this or any other product containing SAM-e except under a doctor's supervision. Also, if you are pregnant or nursing, or taking prescription antidepressant medications, consult your doctor before taking SAM-e.
