Nature Made's Rekindle Your Romance Contest Rules!

No Purchase Necessary. Open to U.S. Residents only.

How to enter: NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. The Nature Made Rekindle Your Romance Contest (the "Contest") seeks to find the most original, creative and readable 100 words or less true first person accounts of how a romance was rekindled (each an "Essay"). Entry in the Contest can be made online at http://www.naturemade.com (the "Contest Site") or by mail. To enter online, go to the Contest Site, click to enter the Rekindle Your Romance contest, then complete the official entry form and submit your entry and Essay as provided at the Contest Site. Wellness Rewards Account members may submit an entry through the Wellness Rewards link at the Contest Site by completing the online form. Alternatively, to enter by mail, submit your Essay along with the official Contest entry form (available while supplies last at participating Southern California Albertson's, Sav-On Drug and Rite-Aid retail locations) or mail a standard sized postcard (not larger than 5" x 7") with your name, address, phone number, and Essay to Pharmavite® LLC., Re: Jamie & Danny, P.O. Box 9606, Mission Hills, CA 91346-9606 (the "Contest Address"). The Contest entry period begins at 12:01 am PDT on 10/14/2002 and ends at 11:59 pm PST on 11/23/2002. Mailed entries must be postmarked by 11/23/2002 and received by 11/30/2002. Entries at the Contest Site must be received by 11:59 pm PST on 11/23/2002. Limit one entry per person regardless of means of entry. Entries submitted through a Wellness Rewards Account will be considered made by the registered Wellness Rewards Account holder. In the event of any ambiguity regarding an entry made at the Contest Site made other than through a Wellness Rewards Account, such entry will be declared to have been made by the "authorized account holder," that is, the individual person who is assigned the email address corresponding to the entry. All entries become the property of Pharmavite® LLC. ("Sponsor") and none will be returned. Entry in the Contest constitutes entrant's grant of rights to Sponsor to reproduce, publish and display the entry (including the Essay) or any portion thereof in connection with the Contest and at the Contest Site and on radio or in other media and in advertisements for Sponsor without payment of any kind. Entrant represents and warrants that his or her entry is a true story and that he or she has the authority to grant to Sponsor all rights, including any rights of privacy or publicity necessary to permit Sponsor to exercise the foregoing grant of rights. Sponsor, Albertson's, Sav-On Drug and Rite-Aid and their affiliates, subsidiaries and advertising and promotional agencies (collectively, "Contest Parties") are not responsible for early, late, lost or misdirected, stolen, postage due, or mutilated entries, or computer, software, internet, telecommunications, postal or other malfunctions that may interfere with the proper or timely transmittal, receipt or legibility of entries. No mechanically reproduced, mutilated, illegible or incomplete entries will be accepted. By participating in the Contest, entrants agree to be bound by these official rules. All decisions of Sponsor and Contest judges in connection with this Contest are final. In the event that Sponsor, in its sole discretion, believes that any portion of the Contest has been compromised, corrupted or impaired, or if for any reason the Contest is not capable of being conducted as contemplated in these Official Rules, including if due to computer virus, bugs, tampering or technical failures which compromise the administration or integrity of the Contest, Sponsor, in its sole discretion, reserves the right to terminate or modify the Contest.
Prizes: One (1) Grand Prize Winner Winner will receive a pair of coach roundtrip airfare transportation tickets (one for himself or herself and another for a travelling companion he or she designates ("Guest")) on a carrier selected by Sponsor from Los Angeles, CA to Paris, France on Valentine's Day weekend (departure date 2/12/03, return departure date 2/16/03), 3 nights accommodations in a four-star hotel of one room double occupancy and $5,000 in spending money (approximate retail value $8,000). Guest must be 18 years of age or older and must sign the Release (as defined below) as a condition to receipt of and/or participation in the Grand Prize. Winner and guest must travel on the same itinerary and at the same time. One (1) Second Prize Winner will win a certificate redeemable for a full-day (7 hr.) for two at a luxury day spa in Beverly Hills (approximate retail value $1000). The Second Prize Winner's certificate will expire one year from date of issuance and is subject to conditions contained thereon. Meals, gratuities, and travel to and from the Los Angeles airport for the Grand Prize winner and to and from the spa for the Second Prize winner and all other expenses not specified herein are the responsibility of winner and his/her guest, as applicable. Passports, visas as applicable, and other government required travel documents are the sole responsibility of the winner and winner's Guest. Travel subject to availability and government restrictions. Fifty (50) Third Prize Winners will receive (2) free packages of Rekindle, as well as (2) free packages of Nature Made Multi-Vitamins (approximate retail value $15). No prize substitutions except as provided herein. Prizes are not transferable and not redeemable for cash. Sponsor reserves the right to change or replace any prize with another of equal or greater value should featured prize become unavailable. Taxes on all Contest prizes are the sole responsibility of the respective winners.
Judging and Notification: Essays will be reviewed and judged by Sponsor's Marketing Department and the top 25 Essays which appear to be eligible in the Contest will be selected for Star 98.7 radio personalities Jamie and Danny to review and select a tentative Grand Prize Winner. Essays will be judged on originality (40%), creativity (40%), and readability (20%). Decisions of the Contest judges at each stage of the Contest are final. The tentative Grand Prize Winner will be selected on or about 12/6/02 and will be notified by mail and/or telephone and/or email within 1 week after selection. Within ten (10) days of attempted notification of winning, the tentative Grand Prize Winner will be required to execute an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability and Publicity Release (the "Release"), select his or her Guest, and have such Guest execute the Release and return such documents as stated in the notification (the "Eligibility Confirmation Process"). Upon return of the completed and executed documents in accordance with the Eligibility Confirmation Process, the tentative Grand Prize Winner will be deemed the Grand Prize Winner and will be awarded the Grand Prize. In the event that documents and Releases are not completed, executed and returned within the ten (10) day period following attempted notification, the next highest scoring Essay as selected by Jamie and Danny will then be deemed the tentative Grand Prize Winner and the notification process will be repeated. Such selection and notification process will be repeated as necessary until the Eligibility Confirmation Process is satisfactorily completed resulting in the award of the Grand Prize. After the Grand Prize has been awarded, the next highest scoring Essay as determined by Jamie and Danny will be deemed the tentative Second Prize Winner, and such entrant will be notified by mail and/or telephone and/or email within 1 week after selection. Within ten (10) days of attempted notification of winning, the tentative Second Prize Winner will be required to execute a Release, select his or her Spa Guest (that is, person to accompany him or her in connection with the use of the Second Prize) and have such Spa Guest execute the Release and return such documents as stated in the notification. Upon return of the completed and executed documents as required, the tentative Second Prize Winner will be deemed the Second Prize Winner and will be awarded the Second Prize. In the event that documents and Releases are not completed, executed and returned within the ten (10) day period following attempted notification, the next highest scoring Essay as selected by Jamie and Danny will then be deemed the tentative Second Prize Winner and the notification process will be repeated. Such selection and notification process will be repeated as necessary until the documents and releases are satisfactorily and timely completed resulting in the award of the Second Prize. After the Second Prize Winner has been determined, the next highest scored Essay will be deemed a tentative Third Prize Winners and will be awarded the Third Prize upon receipt of the signed Release within the ten (10) day period following attempted notification. This process will be repeated until fifty (50) Third Prizes are awarded (unless insufficient eligible entries are received to award fifty (50) Third Prizes in which case fewer than fifty (50) Third Prizes would be awarded).
Eligibility: Entries with essays of greater than 100 words are ineligible and will not be considered. Contest is open to all legal residents of the fifty United States and the District of Columbia, 18 years of age or older at the time of entry, except employees or their household family members of the Contest Parties. Each tentative prize winner will be required to sign an affidavit of eligibility/publicity/liability release. Signed affidavit must be returned within 10 days after mailing or other distribution to tentative prize winner or prize will be awarded to an alternate entrant. Return of prize notification as nondeliverable may result in disqualification and an alternate winner will be selected as provided in these official rules. By participating in this promotion, winners (and as applicable, Guest and Spa Guest) each consent to use of his or her name, photograph, voice, likeness and city of residence for advertising and publicity purposes in connection with this Contest by Sponsor, Albertson's, Sav-On and Rite-Aid, without further compensation, except where prohibited. By entering the Contest and/or by accepting a prize, winners (and as applicable, Guest and Spa Guest) agree to release the Contest Parties from any and all liability for any injury, damage, expense, accident, delay, irregularities, loss or claim which may be cause or contributed to in any way by this Contest and/or use or misuse of a prize. Winners are solely responsible for all taxes and expenses relating to the receipt or use of their prizes. Void where prohibited by law. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply.
