    Povidone is a synthetic material. Povidone is regarded as nontoxic because when consumed orally from a tablet, it is not absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract or mucous membrane. Moreover, it has no irritant effect on the skin and causes no sensitization. It is used as a functional use in foods and tablets at a clarifying agent, separation/filtration aid, stabilizer, tableting aid, and dispersant. Povidone is used in nutritional supplements, prescription medication and many common over the counter products like Actifed™ , Advil™ , Aleve™ , Motrin™ , Sudafed™ , Children’s Tylenol™ , and many others.

    Still kicking and in good health Nature Made is my "go to" brand for vitamins and minerals. I had tried another brand of Cs but the NM Cs are smaller and easier to swallow. Love the Rewards program. January 3, 2013
    Nature Made is a highest quality product, but this item should come with smaller doses to take throughout the day. I primarily buy Nature Made products because they are such high quality. I am frustrated sometimes because they do not come in smaller dosages to take throughout the day instead of one big dose that gets excreted out. The body can't use huge quantities of vitamins or minerals all at once, so I'd rather take two or three doses of smaller amounts spread over the full day. October 20, 2012

    This product does not go down easy! I generally take vitamins by the handful. Not this one or the Multi. They are large, rough and dry! Nature Made can do a lot better. May be a over confidence issue. Reduce size, coat them or something! October 19, 2012

    Consider Nature Made I have been taking a variety of supplements for years and have researched them individually before taking them . I use to buy GNC until I realized that Nature Made is comparable if not better in quality than GNC. I get a better product for the money in Nature Made because I am not paying for the name.     This product is very easy to use. This product is very easy to use. Other vitamin C pills I have tried were difficult to swallow and had a horrible aftertaste. This Nature Made product is easy to swallow with no aftertaste. I'm trying to boost my immunity during this flu and cold season and Nature Made has made this endeavour much more pleasant and effective. October 19, 2012
