Are there other key nutrients I should be considering while I am pregnant?

The omega-3 fatty acid, DHA plays a key role in fetal brain and eye development. You may consider adding an omega-3 supplement (from fish oil or algal oil) to your prenatal multivitamin supplement, or consider our Nature Made Prenatal Multi + DHA softgel product.

How is a postnatal different from my prenatal?

Nature Made PostNatal provides the key nutrients necessary for nursing moms. It provides extra calcium and vitamin D to meet nutritional needs after pregnancy and support bone health for mom and baby; more B vitamins to support the increased energy demands while breastfeeding and more EPA, an Omega-3 fatty acid that, with DHA, plays a crucial role in mom and baby’s health.

How long should I continue my Postnatal?

Consult your doctor about starting the Postnatal supplement right after your pregnancy, whether you are nursing or not. However, it is very important to continue while breastfeeding your baby. The Nature Made Postnatal supplement replenishes mom and ensures she has the proper nutrition complement to pass through to her growing baby. You can continue to take Postnatal after you are done breastfeeding or switch to Nature Made Multi For Her.

How is a postnatal different from my prenatal?

Yes, good nutrition is essential after pregnancy and taking the Nature Made Postnatal supplement, along with a healthy diet, can help ensure good health for moms after pregnancy.

What if I'm still nursing but want to become pregnant again?

You can continue taking the PostNatal supplement since it provides all the key nutrients in our prenatal supplement, such as folic acid and iron, as well as higher amounts of some key nutrients such as vitamin D.
