Pharmavite LLC, Names Connie Barry Co-CEO and President,Board of Executive Managers Also Names Steve Chopp to CFO and
Gary Kuchta to Corporate VP, New Initiatives

NORTHRIDGE, Calif. (August 21, 2006) -- Pharmavite LLC, manufacturer of Nature Made vitamins, announced today changes to the leadership team, effective immediately. Connie Barry, COO, has been named President and Co-CEO; Steve Chopp has been promoted to CFO; and Gary Kuchta will become Corporate Vice President, New Initiatives.
Barry has held various positions within Pharmavite for the past 27 years. As Co-CEO and President, she assumes total responsibility for company operations and for maintaining Pharmavite’s high standards as a leading producer of science-based dietary supplements. Michael Settsu, Pharmavite chairman and current CEO, will share CEO responsibilities with Barry. “Connie’s breadth of experience and knowledge of Pharmavite’s business was the impetus for creating this Co-CEO role,” said Settsu. “I am confident she will continue to drive Pharmavite’s success as an industry leader.”
As a seasoned finance professional, Steve Chopp assumes his new position as Chief Financial Officer, in addition to his current oversight of Corporate Strategy and Development. Prior to joining Pharmavite, Chopp’s corporate experience includes positions at Boise Cascade Office Products and Nestlé USA; his consulting experience includes senior roles at Stern Stewart & Company and L.E.K. Consulting.
Gary Kuchta joined Pharmavite’s marketing department earlier this year. He will now be Corporate Vice President, responsible for new initiatives. His most recent position was Marketing Director at Unilever where he was responsible for the Dove, Suave, Sunsilk, Thermasilk and Finesse businesses.
