When it comes to choosing a vitamin, pharmacists know best.

While many people turn to their pharmacist for advice about prescription medications, only one in five customers asks their pharmacist questions about vitamins and supplements, according to a recent Nature Made–sponsored survey.

Pharmacists, however, are a wealth of information about over-the-counter products.

"I guide customers through various health-related questions and always recommend quality vitamins as a key part of their daily routine," says Jim Morelli, a licensed pharmacist and national health reporter. He continues, "It's best to consult your personal pharmacist a few times a year to ensure you are taking the right amount and type of vitamins."

With dozens of vitamin and supplement choices out there, it's good to know that free, expert help is available, right behind the pharmacy counter.

How do you choose a vitamin brand?

There are lots of vitamin brands out there. For 40 years, Nature Made has been a vitamin and supplement company dedicated to quality. That's one of the reasons Nature Made was chosen as the #1 Pharmacist Recommended Letter Vitamin and Fish Oil brand in the 2015 Pharmacy Times survey.

From sourcing ingredients to production, Nature Made is committed to making vitamins and supplements that you can choose with confidence.
